Conventional demolition methods such as breakers, wrecking balls and blasting procedures typically increase the amounts of dust, noise and danger on the jobsite and potentially harm the integrity of structures through excessive vibration. CHESCO eliminates these concerns by performing professional precision cutting using high-cycle electric, electric, gas, diesel, propane and hydraulic powered equipment.
CHESCO uses diamond blades and bits to create exact openings in concrete floors and walls for building expansion, new plumbing, electrical conduits and HVAC installations.
Nearly all structures and facilities containing concrete materials are built with reinforced steel to strengthen and support concrete in tension. Reinforced steel is most often present in the form of rebar or post-tension cables and must be maintained to ensure the structural integrity of a building. Both rebar and post-tension cables can significantly damage diamond-bladed equipment when in contact during coring or cutting operations.
To ensure the structural integrity of any building and the quality of the contractor equipment, CHESCO offers non-destructive, concrete inspection services to locate rebar in addition to other existing utilities such as water mains, gas lines and electrical conduits using ground penetrating radar (GPR) technologies.
